WELCOME TO

JACKSON COUNTY HOMELESSNESS

 COMMITTEE

A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out

TESTIMONIES

JCHC allowed us to move into one of their transitional homes.  They have helped direct and guided us to a different support system.  They have helped direct and guide us to different resources in Jackson that we could utilize in our journey.  My husband has found a stable job that he loves and I've recently started a part-time job.  For the first time in a long time I'm excited to face the day.  We are becoming the family we use to be. Thank You!

We have been sleeping in our vehicle for several weeks now.  We had some money put back for a deposit but not enough to get us into a place of our own.  Had it not been for JCHC helping to provide deposit money who knows where we would be.

COMMUNITY COLLABORATION

Working Together to Break the Cycle of Homelessness

JCHC works closely with several local organizations such as Integrated services, Jackson Metropolitan Housing Authority, Job and Family Services and Jackson-Vinton Community Action to assist out clients with a wide array of services.

Once you are an established client we will begin creating a care plan, tailored to meet your specific needs. Additionally we partner with several local churches, food banks, Elizabeth's Hope. WC4 and many other community resources that might help to stabilize our clients.
